I think once we became independent, our relationship with our clients just improved. 

As independent advisors, we had time to focus 100 percent on our clients and make sure that what we were doing for them was what was best for them. 

That personal connection and knowing that you are helping families and individuals to achieve what’s most important to them is a fantastic feeling. If you put the client first—always—then pretty much everything else will take care of itself.
