Amid all this change, we continually evaluate where we can provide the greatest value, taking advantage of our unique leadership position, scale, and breadth. As a result, we are focused on two goals—creating the best, most operationally efficient custodial experience, and expanding our secure, deep integrations with leading tech providers that offer complementary solutions.
Industry-leading custodial experience
We want to ensure every interaction with us is simple, easy and efficient. That starts with eliminating paper forms, so you can reduce errors and delays. We’re developing several digital tools to streamline core account-related tasks, from Account Opening to Moving Money, while providing you with more comprehensive Status. For example, we expanded eAuthorization to include checks and journals. So now your clients can securely approve almost all money movement requests, including wires, with a few taps on their mobile phone. You’ll be able to use a similar process with our new Digital Account Open tool.
At the same time, we’re also building out our investment management capabilities. Schwab Advisor Portfolio Connect™ offers a simplified approach to portfolio management for Schwab accounts—including features like Performance Reporting, Billing and Integrated Dashboards. We’re excited to provide all of this free of charge to our custodial clients.
Broad, deep third-party integration
Many advisors use several third-party technologies. Each is important, but getting them to work together can be challenging, requiring separate operational management, including data re-entry. We’re streamlining our process and adding resources to accelerate the on-boarding of the providers that advisors value most. And of course, security and quality continue to be our ongoing focus and commitment.
We’re also seeking to go deep in our integrations, to further optimize operations. We’ll achieve this objective by ensuring capabilities we develop for our proprietary platforms are available to third-parties. This approach will enable you to streamline end-to-end workflows like client onboarding. For example, you’ll be able to securely open an account, or change an address, through your CRM.
