Make the Overview page your default homepage to quickly see status updates and alerts
When you log into Schwab Advisor Center, you can choose which page you want to see each time you log in. We recently added two new options to this menu.
You can choose to default to the Status and Alerts Overview page each time you log into Schwab Advisor Center. You'll get a quick snapshot of the progress of your requests to Schwab, as well as any important alerts Schwab has issued for your clients' accounts.
Or you can choose to default to the Status page to view and take action on your most important submissions and requests.
Please note that if you use a different browser or clear your cookies, you will have to reset your default page.

View and take action on important tasks from a single page
The new Status and Alerts overview page provides a consolidated view of all recent status updates and alerts, making it easy to review and act on requests from a single location.
Items are grouped automatically based on their importance, request type, and other characteristics. For example, in the Status section, Action Needed items are right on top. You can drill down into a group to see all the included items by clicking on the + icon. You can then select any item to add missing information, make notes, or upload required documents—all without leaving the page.
To quickly find what you need, you can adjust the time period and customize the view by using the toggles at the top of each column to choose how your status updates or alerts are sorted.
Visit the overview page each day for a fast, convenient way to stay on top of your clients' most important alerts and status updates. Be sure to download the new step-by-step guide to track requests on Schwab Advisor Center for status, alerts, and more.

Changes to the processing of paper forms
We're changing the way we process paper-based submissions, making this a great time to switch over to our digital tools, which represent the fastest, most secure method to do everything from opening accounts to initiating move money transactions.
Starting in June, we are using new technology to process paper-based requests. To ensure requests are processed, please follow these guidelines:
- Our automated system will not process handwritten instructions, so please avoid handwritten forms and special requests in the margins of the documents you submit.
- If you can't use a digital workflow, be sure the form you're submitting is recently downloaded from the Forms & Applications page on Schwab Advisor Center; out-of–date forms require longer processing times.
